The Lord has truly given me a passion for the hearts of teens,
especially those involved with Child
Evangelism Fellowship®
(CEF®)
through the Christian Youth In Action® (CYIA™) program.This past August – November I attended CEF’s Children’s Ministry Institute®
(CMI®)
at the CEF International Headquarters
located in Warrenton, Missouri.CMI is a 12 week diploma program that CEF has developed to train and prepare CEF staff, children’s workers, or any
person desiring to grow in the Lord and in their ability to teach
children.There were 8 modules during CMI, each lasting 1 or 2 weeks.Through these modules and classes I was able
to experience so many different teaching styles and get to know the
headquarters staff.Being at CMI opened my eyes
to how big CEF is.
